Zinc soaps are "auxiliary drier". Used together with Cobalt,they give harder films, maintaining the film "open" so as to maximize the effect of Oxygen, ensuring more uniform drying throughout. Zinc may be also used as a "stabilizer" of Lead driers. Yukalic Zinc drier possesses good wetting properties, cutting down the loss of drying power caused by certain pigments or fillers.

Application : Paint and ink drier, paint additive (wetting and dispersing agent), wood treatment (colorless fungicide), dispersing agent (for fuel oil), waterproof agent, lubricating oil additive, resin stabilizer, temporary anti corrosion.
